Improvement of maintenance and asset management strategy in a maritime terminal under regulatory and physicochemical testing criteria

Abstract This work was developed in the gas and oil sector, more specifically equipment that make up Coveñas maritime terminal, one of main terminals Colombia. sought to improve maintenance strategy asset management all terminal through criteria based on international standards such as International Organization for Standardization 14224, which guides ranking equipment; also considered were results physicochemical tests applied sample materials obtained from field. With this information, a road map drawn establish plan efficiency marine terminal’s operation. The physical variables measured its parts, evidenced importance carrying out projects with interdisciplinary approaches, enhance achievement objectives set. In specific case, considerable improvement execution hours shown.
